Preparation for upcoming exhibition

Spring 2022 I will be opening my solo exhibition at Grótta Gallery in Seltjarnarnes. I am curranty working on a series of works where I look at a pictorial embodiment of the sky and the earth so that it becomes an abstract experience with reference to both worlds. Horizon and the feeling of, air and earth will be the subject of the exhibition. Perception will play a key role in seeking to evoke both visible and invisible dichotomies in multilayered paintings. I intend to further develop the properties of different materials to create works that offer a connection to the horizon, air and earth. Looking into the effect of light, texture and deformation of two-dimensional surfaces.
